Academics

You may wish to ask your student to verify that a particular person will be in attendance, or to assist you in making special meeting arrangements. Of course, parents are encouraged to call faculty advisors, instructors, and other staff members anytime throughout the year to discuss issues over the phone or to arrange individual meetings.

Parking
Free parking for Family Weekend is available at the Brodhead and Packer Avenue lot and along Packer and Brodhead Avenues (except for metered spaces). Additional parking areas convenient to Saturday activities include the lot north of Whitaker Laboratory. Permits will not be required to park in this lot. Parking is also available in the Zoellner Arts Center parking deck, the Campus Square parking garage (located north of Maginnes Hall), and the Alumni Memorial Building Parking Pavilion.

Traffic
Due to the number of visitors, traffic between the Asa Packer Campus and Murray H. Goodman Campus becomes heavy during Family Weekend, particularly just before the Saturday football game. You are encouraged to leave early to avoid traffic jams and allow enough time to reach your destination.
