HVAC mechanic: Facilities Planning and Renovation

1. What do you like best about your position?
The ability to work on HVAC equipment across all three of Lehigh's contiguous campuses and working with a wide variety of  different HVAC equipment daily keeps the position challenging.

2. What time do you arrive at work? What time do you leave work?
I arrive at 8:00 a.m. and leave at 4:30 p.m. with one hour for lunch.  

3. Why did you choose Lehigh University as your employer of choice?
This was an excellent opportunity for me to work for an organization with a good reputation in the community. Lehigh provides employees with ongoing training to advance their existing skill levels and a solid foundation for secure employment.

4. What Lehigh University events and activities have you participated in beyond your department to become a more active member of the Lehigh community?
I have attended some training sessions sponsored through Human Resources and I read Spotlight, the monthly Human Resources newsletter.

5. What is your favorite location on campus and why?
I have no favorite location.  I like working on Asa Packer, Mountaintop and Goodman campuses.

6. What do you like best about working for an academic institution?
Lehigh has been in existence in this community since 1865. I feel that academic institutions should be fairly stable employment with a future.
