Lehigh University is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania just 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City.  The university is easily reached via air or ground transportation. 

Here are some driving directions:

From Route 22 (once in the Lehigh Valley)

From Route I-78 East or West

From Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey

The Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) is about 10 minutes away and is served by most major airlines.  When searching for flights, use the airport code ABE.  From there, you can easily catch a cab or airport limousine.  If you rent a car, simply follow the signs out of the airport toward Route 22 East.  Use the aforementioned directions from Route 22.

While Newark Liberty International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport are each about 75 minutes away, most find Newark Airport more convenient.

If you are traveling from Newark Airport OR New York City, a simple bus ride on Trans-Bridge Lines will bring you to the South Bethlehem bus station, which is located less than 3 blocks from campus.

Visitors coming from Philadelphia's airport can take SEPTA's Regional Rail System to the Market East Station.  From there, it is less than a three block walk to the bus station.  Any traveler coming from Philadelphia can take a Susquehana Trailways bus at the Greyhound Terminal (1001 Filbert St., Philadelphia) to the Allentown Bus Terminal.  20 minutes from campus, you'll need to then take a cab to Lehigh's Alumni Memorial Building.
