Board of Directors Nomination Form

The Lehigh University Alumni Association (LUAA) Board of Directors is an advisory board which assists the Alumni Association staff in strategic planning to ensure that the activities and programs of the LUAA are implemented in a manner consistent with the mission of the LUAA.

LUAA Mission

To connect, engage, and involve alumni with Lehigh University and with one another in support of the university's mission and goals.

The Board of Directors consists of Lehigh graduates who have an outstanding history of serving and supporting their alma mater in various capacities. An open nomination process is held yearly in which names of potential candidates are submitted to the Nominating Committee.  The Nominating Committee carefully selects the most qualified candidates who have demonstrated consistent service in diverse volunteer roles.  The election is held at the Annual Business Meeting of the Alumni Association during Reunion weekend.

The Directors represent all alumni and are knowledgeable representatives of the university.The Board of Directors meets on campus (Annual Meeting/Reunion, Fall and Spring), where members learn about the latest developments on campus regarding academics, athletics and student life.  In addition, they actively serve on committees that focus on key areas (Young/Student Alumni, Career, Regional Activities, Reunions, Marketing and Communications, and Admissions). The committee work is the focus of activity between the on-campus meetings and further keeps the Board of Directors connected to the university.
