Alumni Career Solutions can assist you with a variety of career-related needs, including career changes, job search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, interview styles and preparation, evaluating offers, and salary negotiation, and graduate school preparation.   

Here's how to get started:

1.  Complete the appropriate web seminars.

2.  If you need to address specific concerns with a career coach after you have completed the web seminars, please request an appointment by completing the appointment request form.
3.  Our office will contact you to schedule an initial appointment.
4.  During your appointment with Lori Kennedy, M.Ed or Robin Dougherty, M.A., you will determine your next steps based on your career needs.
5.  Schedule follow up appointment(s) as needed. Each alumnus is allowed 2 follow up appointments.

A little bit about us...

Lori Kennedy, director of alumni career solutions, is a Higher Education professional with expertise in all aspects of career services including:  employer relations, program development, career counseling and management.  Lori has 15 years of experience providing individual career consulting to college students, entry-level professionals, as well as senior level executives.  Lori earned a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. 

Robin Dougherty, associate director of alumni career solutions, has been in the career services field for 12 years. Prior to her work with the alumni population, she was coordinator of the Engineering Co-op Program in Career Services at Lehigh University and was a career counselor at Bowling Green State University.  Robin holds her bachelor’s degree in criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University.
