Our graduate programs in economics emphasize applied economics and the application of economic analysis to related disciplines.
The focus of the Ph.D. program is on research and teaching. Forty-eight hours beyond the master's or 72 hours beyond the bachelor's is required. Teaching and the development of presentation skills are vital to Lehigh's eminent undergaduate program. Recent tenure-track appointments include the University of Iowa, James Madison University, St. Joseph's University, The College of New Jersey, Lafayette College, and Babson College.
