Youngsoo Bae is assistant professor in the Department of Economics. He received his doctorate and master's degree in economics from Ohio State University and his bachelor's degree in economics from Seoul National University, Korea. His research interests include applied macroeconomics and econometrics. Previously an economist with the Bank of Korea, he has been awarded two fellowships and the G.S. Maddala Prize in Econometrics by Ohio State University. He has presented his research at several conferences and has published articles in the Journal of Applied Econometrics and the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking.
