Paul Gordon is a Professor of Practice in Accounting at Lehigh University since 2003, following a 35 year career in public accounting at KPMG LLP. At Lehigh, he teaches financial accounting at the undergraduate level as well as financial statement analysis and business consulting at the graduate level. He combines the course materials with practical real life examples in order to give students different perspectives.

During his career with KPMG LLP, he was with the assurance/audit practice for 25 years and the consulting practice for 10 years. He served publicly-held multinational clients in the manufacturing, chemical and retailing sectors. Amongst his clients were Ace Hardware Corporation, Imperial Chemicals (ICI), Sauer Danfoss, Macy's and Lucas Varity.

While at KPMG LLP, he served on numerous technical and management committees and task forces. These dealt with Prospective Reporting, Attestation Services and Professional Audit/Assurance Practice as well as several industry groups.

He received his Bachelor in Commerce from DePaul University and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies while at university. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of several CPA societies.
