Courses Taught

Jill A. (Griesing) Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department.  Her research interests include strategic leadership, corporate governance, ethics, and corporate social responsibility.  Professor Brown has published papers on these topics in the Oxford Handbook of Corporate Social Responsibility, and the Journal of Management Studies.  She has eleven conference proceedings and several published case studies in the strategic management, social issues, and organization theory disciplines.  Her current research focuses in on the changing role of corporate boards in response to institutional governance reforms.  Professor Brown joined the Lehigh faculty in 2007 after graduating from The University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in strategic management and a minor in organizational behavior.  She received a B.A. in Economics from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Augusta State University.  Prior to pursuing a Ph.D., Professor Brown worked in the banking industry at Mellon, Fidelity, Connecticut National, and Michigan National Banks.
