David Hobson Myers has degrees in Finance and Business Economics, Finance and International Business, and Government.  He has published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Operations Research, and Interfaces. Professor Myers has been at Lehigh University since 2000.

Before joining academia, Professor Myers worked in the investment community for over ten years for Frank Russell Company as a Senior Research Analyst, for InterSec Research as the Chief Representative of their Tokyo office, and in New York and Tokyo for Daiwa Securities and its investment management subsidiary, Daiwa International Capital Management.

Professor Myers teaches the undergraduate and graduate investments courses.
