Courses Taught

David Hobson Myers received his Ph.D. in Finance and Business Economics from University of Washington in 2001, M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from New York University in 1987 and B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University in 1982. Professor Myers has published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Operations Research, and Interfaces. Professor Myers has been at Lehigh University since 2000 as a member of the Perella Department of Finance.

Before joining academia, Professor Myers worked in the investment community for over ten years for Frank Russell Company as a Senior Research Analyst, for InterSec Research as the Chief Representative of their Tokyo office, and in New York and Tokyo for Daiwa Securities and its investment management subsidiary, Daiwa International Capital Management.

Professor Myers teaches the undergraduate and graduate investments courses. Professor Myers is also the Director of Lehigh University's Financial Services Laboratory.
