Nada R. Sanders has written chapters for books and encyclopedias and is co-author of the book Operations Management, in its 4th edition. She was ranked in the top 8 percent of individuals in the field of operations management from a pool of 738 authors and 237 different schools by a study of research productivity in U.S. business schools, is a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) and the Production Operations Management Society (POMS).

Professor Sanders is author of numerous articles that have appeared in journals such as Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Operations Management, Omega, Interfaces, International Journal of Production and Operations Management, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Supply Chain Management Review, and others. Her research interests include business forecasting, supply chain management, and the role of information technology in the supply chain environment. She is also Associate Editor of Foresight, a journal of the International Institute of Forecasters.

Dr. Sanders has extensive consulting and executive training experience, having worked with companies such as NIKEiD, IDC, Scitex Corporation, AT&T, MTC Corporation, and others. She is a frequently called upon expert witness in the area of forecasting, and has worked with firms such as Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue and Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease. She is also a frequent Keynote Speaker and a regular presenter at the Forecasting Summit conferences. In 2008 she was selected to join The Gordon Cook Conversations at Windsor Castle, a conference that brings together top leaders from around the globe seen as ‘stars’ in their field to develop strategies on how to impact society in the coming decade.
