Academics & Faculty

the LEHIGH MBA accepts students who have earned at least a four-year baccalaureate from an accredited university or college in any academic field with at least two years of work experience. There are pre-requisite courses which must be completed prior to beginning the MBA core course for which it is required. MBA 402 (Managing Financial and Physical Resources) and MBA 403 (Managing Information) require prerequisites of GBUS 401 (Financial Reporting for Business & Industry) and ECO 401 (Basic Statistics for Business & Industry).

Additionally, an undergraduate course in Principles of Economics is required, and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeŽ Suite, including Access, are strongly recommended. Students may enroll in these courses after their application to the LEHIGH MBA has been accepted.

Statistics courses taken in the past five [5] years with a grade of B or higher may be used to waive the statistics requirement. Students who have taken a statistics course more than five [5] years ago, or have not earned a B or higher, must successfully complete a proficiency examination.

All students who have taken financial accounting at the undergraduate level in the last five [5] years and earned a B or higher must pass a proficiency exam prior to enrolling in MBA 402. The Graduate Programs Office recommends that all students enroll in GBUS 401 if this prerequisite is needed.
