Lehigh University’s Department of Management seeks to fill one tenure track position in organizational behavior/human resource management beginning fall 2009. All candidates must have a research-focused doctorate in organizational behavior and/or human resource management from a recognized school of business. Candidates must have the ability to conduct scholarly research aimed at publication in top journals and be capable of outstanding classroom performance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have interest in teaching both human resource management and organizational behavior. Preference will be given to candidates with previous organizational experience in the human resource field. Candidates at the level of associate or full must have demonstrated records in both research and teaching.

The College of Business and Economics is home to approximately 1370 undergraduates, 390 graduate students, and 59 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. In addition to undergraduate, MBA, and various doctoral programs, joint programs exist between business and engineering including the joint Center for Value Chain Research. The Management Department includes faculty in supply chain, information systems, strategic management, and organizational behavior. We have recently introduced a new undergraduate management major. Opportunities for sponsored research are available through the Center for Value Chain Research.
