Tenure Track Position in Supply Chain Management
Full/Associate/Assistant


Lehigh University’s Department of Management seeks to fill one tenure track position in supply chain management beginning fall 2009.  We are seeking candidates who have the ability to conduct scholarly research aimed at publication in top journals and capability of outstanding classroom performance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must be able to teach supply-chain related courses, including operations management.  Team teaching and development of distance education and web-based instruction are likely.  Candidate is expected to be a thought leader and participant in Lehigh University’s Center for Value Chain Research  which fosters industry support of research on integrated value chain effectiveness. Industry/professional experience in supply chain management is highly desirable.  Candidates at the level of associate or full professor must have demonstrated records in both research and teaching.

The College of Business and Economics is home to approximately 1370 undergraduates, 390 graduate students, and 59 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. In addition to undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral programs, joint programs exist between business and engineering including the joint Center for Value Chain Research. The Management Department includes faculty in supply chain, information systems, strategic management, and organizational behavior. Supply chain programs include an undergraduate major, MBA concentration, and graduate certificates.
