Charles Davidson, 1962

Charles Davidson is a retired chairman, president, and chief executive officer of J.A. Jones, Inc. His career with J.A. Jones spanned more than 35 years and a rise in responsibility from project manager to president to chief operating officer to chief executive officer. He was responsible for various operating divisions of J.A. Jones, including its multiple construction divisions. Currently, Davidson is president of Moorland Consulting Group. He holds a professional engineering license from the District of Columbia and has a BS in civil engineering from Lehigh University.

Charles Davidson

Davidson is a member of the Board of Advisors of Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. He was formerly a member of the Construction Industry Roundtable, comprised of 100 CEO’s from the leading architectural, engineering and construction firms in the United States. He joined the Lehigh’s P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science Advisory Board in 2006.

While at Lehigh, Davidson was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and Chi Epsilon Honor Society.

He and his wife, Joanne, reside in North Carolina. They have three grown children.
