J. Stuart Ryan is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Calpine Corporation and the Chief Executive Officer of Aggregates USA.

Mr. Ryan is the founding owner and President of Rydout, LLC, a private firm focused on energy and power investments which since 2003 has been working in partnership with the investment firm SPO Partners.

Prior to this, Mr. Ryan held various management positions with The AES Corporation, a global power company, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He is a member of the Lehigh University Board of Trustees and Engineering Advisory Council and serves on the Vestry of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ross, CA.

Mr. Ryan earned his B.S. from Lehigh University and his M.B.A. from Harvard University.
