*Electives for sophomore through senior years must be distributed as follows:
Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS): 13 credit hours (not including Eco 1). Approved courses in other engineering departments and in science: 3 credit hours total. Chemistry and Chemical Engineering: 3 credit hours in each. Free electives: 6 credit hours. Or, if a technical minor is completed, all categories of technical electives are considered to have been met. HSS electives cannot be met by a Technical Minor, however.

*Approved technical electives are chosen by the student, with the approval of the major advisor, to support the professional objectives of the student.
