Program Curriculum:Please review the following information to learn more about the curriculum in energy systems engineering:
- Core courses (12 credits)
All students complete a 12-credit core sequence that provides a foundation of knowledge for success in the energy and power industries and identifies challenges facing the U.S. utility infrastructure, its operations, and the mitigation of its environmental impact.
- Technical electives (15 credits)
Students acquire a level of specialized knowledge and experience through the completion of five technical elective courses, selected from a large pool of desginated courses. Explore this link to review the available electives.
- Industry projects (3-6 credits)
These projects, a requirement of the program, give students a chance for hands-on, real-world problem solving and an opportunity to connect with the program's industry sponsors. Also, check out the research topics pf past and current students of the program.
