MATERIALS SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING MINOR
(engineering materials, plastics, ceramics, metals, coatings, processing, electronic materials, etc.)

To obtain a minor in materials science and engineering a student must complete at least 15 credit hours of materials science and engineering as follows:

Mat 33.  Engineering Materials and processes (3)

ELECTIVES: The remaining courses to complete the minor may be any 200-level or 300-level courses offered by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, with the exception of the following courses which are excluded: MAT 221; MAT 240; MAT 291; MAT 327; MAT 329; MAT 338.
