To earn a minor in Polymer Science and Engineering, a student must register for at least 15 credits of coursework distributed as follows:

ChE 393 Physical Polymer Science – Fall Semester – senior year
(Prerequisite: senior standing)
ChE 394 Organic Polymer Science I – Spring Semester– senior year
(Prerequisite: see course catalog)
ChE 392 Introduction to Polymer Science – Fall Semester – senior year
(Prerequisite: Chm 187 and senior standing)
OR Mat 204 Processing and Properties of Polymeric Materials- Spring Semester - sophomore year or after (Prerequisite: Mat 33)
ELECTIVES: (minimum one)
ChE 344 Electron Microscopy and Microanalysis – Fall Semester- senior year
(Prerequisite: Permission and senior standing)
