Humanities and Social Sciences Minors
Students in engineering can satisfy the requirements for minors in various humanities or social sciences by using their humanities and social science electives and their free electives.

Entrepreneurship Minor
This program, offered jointly by the College of Business and Economics and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, aims to prepare students from all undergraduate colleges at Lehigh with the skill sets, attitudes, and understanding of the processes required to realize their entrepreneurial goals in either an emerging or established company setting. The program is designed to be generally accessible to students from all disciplines with an emphasis on innovation, the entrepreneurial process, and cross-functional integration.

The goal of this program is to provide non-business students with the knowledge and skills that will allow them to make more informed business decisions, as well as enable them to supplement their major studies with the business tools that are attractive to employers.

Minor in Engineering Leadership
The minor in leadership provides students with background knowledge, application experiences and interaction with successful business managers in order to become more effective leaders. The program focuses on real-world industry projects, quantitative decision making, leadership theory and practice, enterprise organization and ethics in order to develop leadership skills. The program is offered to all disciplines from all colleges.

This innovative program provides insight to students in Lehigh’s College of Business and Economics or the College of Arts and Sciences into what engineers do, how they think, and an understanding of the tools and techniques they use to innovate and solve problems. This minor is not available to students pursuing a major degree in engineering.
