Undergraduate Study

The department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) prepares undergraduate students to become leaders of industry and managers of projects by providing them with a broad base of learning and research opportunities.
The CEE curriculum prepares graduates not only for the engineering professions and graduate engineering study, but also for advanced study in law, medicine, engineering management and business administration.

Graduate Study

Lehigh University currently has internationally recognized graduate, research and educational programs in civil, structural and environmental engineering.  Close collaboration with renowned faculty, superb laboratory facilities, and the resources of a world renowned university provide an unparallel educational opportunity.
Graduate students conduct experiments across an impressive range of scales using electrokinetics and nanoparticles to decontaminate groundwater and conduct some of the world’s largest structural multi-hazard tests for a safe and durable infrastructure.
