imageThe Geotechnical Engineering Program at Lehigh University is an interdisciplinary graduate engineering program. Research areas are electro-restoration of contaminated soil and groundwater, re-use of waste and secondary materials in earth construction, containment and filtration technologies, computer vision and imaging in subsurface investigation and characterization, transport in porous medium, and non-destructive testing techniques. Availability of elective courses in water resources, geology, information technologies, computer science and engineering, mechanics, materials science, chemical engineering, and chemistry greatly strengthen the research capabilities of the geotechnical engineering program.
