Lehigh's engineering students are active in a wide range of activities, from professional associations to the arts.  Organizations in Civil and Environmental Engineering include:

ASCE Student Chapter Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than 133,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide, and is America's oldest national engineering society. ASCE's vision is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life.

Chi Epsilon: Dedicated to the purpose of maintaining and promoting the status of civil engineering as a ideal profession.

Fritz Engineering Research Society The Fritz Engineering Research Society was founded in 1935 and is headquartered at the Fritz Engineering Research Laboratory at Lehigh University. FERS is a professional organization promoting experimental research in all areas of civil engineering. FERS provides support by creating a forum allowing the exchange of ideas on technical topics relevant to its members

Tau Beta Pi: Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession.  It is the nation's second-oldest honor society, founded at Lehigh University in 1885 to recognize students of distinguished scholarship and exemplary character.  There are now collegiate chapters at 221 U.S. colleges and universities, active alumnus chapters in 16 regions across the United States and a total initiated membership of 429,000.

Office of Graduate Student Life The Office of Graduate Student Life is a division of Student Affairs.  It's mission is to make Lehigh a hospitable place that is engaging, inspiring, and supportive to graduate students.  The Office of Graduate Student Live and the Graduate Student Center is housed in the historic Sayre Observatory.
