Chemical Engineering Centennial Celebration 

The Department of Chemical Engineering celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding with a two day celebration on Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30, 2003. By all measures, the event was a rousing success, with more than 125 participants, of which 75 were Chemical Engineering alumni. >> See more details. >>

Israel E. Wachs, Elected as Foreign Member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.  The President of the Republic of Poland confirmed this election on July 5 2005.  The deed of appointment will be formally delivered by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington.
