Student members of SAE International have produced two extraordinary vehicles. Members of the Lehigh Formula SAE team have built a third generation formula style race car that competed in the 1999 Formula SAE Competition. Minor fuel and exhaust problems kept the team from being a top contender, but it is hoped that these problems will be fixed when the team returns to Michigan next year for the 2000 Formula SAE Competition, with an all new car!
