Clarence Au-Young appointed VP at Honeywell

Clarence Au-Young, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering  from Lehigh in 1977 and 1979, has been appointed vice president of the Regional, Business and General Aviation segment of Honeywell Inc.’s Airframe Systems in Phoenix, Ariz.

Au-Young joined Honeywell in 1987 as a systems project engineer and rose to become senior program manager, acting director of program management, manager of strategic analysis, and ES&S director of business development.

In November 2000 he was appointed Platform Leader for the Boeing 757, 767 and Sonic Cruiser / 7E7 programs.

Before joining Honeywell, Au-Young worked for Boeing as manager of advanced technology and for Rockwell as a space shuttle design engineer.



Au-Young holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from UCLA.
