Kie and Haigh Cundey ’55 image
A. Haigh Cundey, an accomplished portfolio manager, is a senior vice president with Smith Barney in New York City. He graduated from Lehigh with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While at Lehigh, Cundey was a member of the basketball team and the Chi Psi fraternity.

Cundey has generously contributed many works to the university’s permanent art collection, and was an early supporter of and vital contributor to the Rauch Business Center. Long espousing the complementary role of athletics and academics at Lehigh, Cundey was a generous contributor to the Grace Hall restoration. In 2002, he was the lead donor for yet another visionary project, the A. Haigh Cundey Varsity House. Cundey is an active volunteer with the Lehigh University Alumni Association, a member of the Lehigh Leadership Council, the Wall Street Council, his 30th and 40th Reunion Fund Committees, and chairman of his class’s 50th reunion.

A Lehigh sports fan, Cundey travels extensively, and enjoys spending winters at his home in North Palm Beach, Florida. He resides in Summit, New Jersey, with his wife, Kie. They have four children, and six grandchildren.
