Mary T. and Lowry S. Danser 1933
Lowry S. Danser earned a degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh in 1933, where he was involved with Delta Tau Delta and the swim team. He spent a successful career with E.I. duPonte de Nemours and Co. as a chemical engineer, where he had numerous assignments abroad for the company.

Danser and his late wife, Mary, were generous benefactors of Lehigh, gifting valuable artwork and pottery they’d collected abroad to the university's galleries. They were members of the Asa Packer Society and Tower Society. In 2004, Danser established the Mary T. and Lowry S. Danser ’33 Gift Annuity. Following his passing in 2007, his estate gift to the university established the Mary T. and Lowry S. Danser Distinguished Faculty Chair in Chemistry, currently held by Robert Flowers.
