Elizabeth Langtry Deale, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was the widow of Blair B. Deale, who graduated from Lehigh in 1935 with a degree in business and economics. Blair Deale was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity while at Lehigh. Following a successful career, he retired as vice president of RBC Dominion Securities Limited. He passed away in 1999. Following Elizabeth Deale’s death in March 2006, a bequest from the couple’s estate established the Blair and Betty Deale Endowed Scholarship Fund at Lehigh.
