Hilda Brennan and Frederick S. Dornblatt 1937
A member of the Lehigh University Class of 1937, Frederick Dornblatt graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. He has retained his Lehigh ties by serving as class treasurer, reunion treasurer, and campaign volunteer. He is a member of the Asa Packer Society and a member of the Tower Society as well. Dornblatt was president of the Bethlehem Iron Works, and is now retired.  Bethlehem Iron Works fabricated structural steel for buildings. The company produced much of the decorative ironwork used in the Alumni Memorial Building, Linderman Library, Packard Lab, and Grace Hall, as well as many of the residence halls and fraternity houses.

Dornblatt was married to Hilda Louise Brennan Dornblatt for 55 years. A graduate of West Chester University, she was a close friend and benefactor of Lehigh. She attended the Graduate School of Education at Lehigh, and taught school in the Bethlehem area school district for 25 years. She passed away in 2002.

Dornblatt has established additional life income gifts, which will be added to their endowed scholarship at Lehigh. Dornblatt also contributes to the Challenge Scholarship fund, which is to be given to undergraduate students, with a preference for students whose home and family are in the Lehigh Valley (Lehigh and Northampton counties).
