Francis J. Ingrassia graduated in 1975 from Lehigh University with a B.S. in finance. As an undergraduate, he joined Tau Epsilon Phi and was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the Newman Association and played intramural sports.

In 1983, Ingrassia became vice president of Goldman Sachs & Company and at the present time is managing director with the firm.  Goldman Sachs & Company is a full service international investment banking and brokerage firm located in New York City.

As a scholarship recipient himself, Ingrassia appreciates the importance of helping young people receive a valuable Lehigh education. Therefore, believing that Lehigh University offers special opportunities for the training and education of young men and women, the Ingrassias established the Elizabeth and Frank Ingrassia Foundation Scholarship Fund in 1998 making it possible for other young people to experience the same opportunities he enjoyed as a young man.  The Ingrassias are also members of Lehigh’s Asa Packer Giving Society. The Ingrassias reside in Lattingtown, NY and are the parents of five sons and two daughters.
