
Rob and Nancy Schatzman have graciously agreed to be Lehigh's Parent's Council Co-Chairs for the 2009-2010 academic year.

James R. Tanenbaum 1970 and Elizabeth Scofield 
James R. Tanenbaum received his bachelor’s degree from Lehigh in 1970. He earned a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, followed by a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. Tanenbaum, a New York-based corporate and securities lawyer, is a partner with the law firm of Morrison and Foerster. He joined the Lehigh University Board of Trustees in 1997 and has since served on the academic affairs, executive, development, and finance committees. Tanenbaum served as chairman of the board 2002-2007.
Elizabeth Scofield is the managing director of Lehigh University's Zoellner Arts Center. A graduate of Barnard College and the Wharton School, she worked in publishing, advertising, and the performing arts.
James Tanenbaum and Elizabeth Scofield have established the Scholarship for Peace and Democracy in the Middle East. They have given generously to a number of projects, including the A. Haigh Cundey Varsity House, the football coach endowment fund, and the Zoellner Arts Center.
