Competition for exceptional students is constantly increasing.
Lehigh will award more than $54 million in university-funded grants and scholarships in 2008-2009.
More than 50 percent of first-year students receive financial aid to cover tuition.
Only 25 percent of all financial aid at Lehigh comes from scholarship endowment.
