Q: What giving options do I have available?
A: You can opt to:
· Make an online gift
· Make a payment on an existing pledge

Q: Is this website secure?
A: Yes, your personal information is transmitted and stored in an encrypted format.  We take privacy and fraud prevention very seriously and have taken every possible step to ensure that your information is protected at every step in the process.

Q: What credit cards are accepted?
A: American Express, Master Card and Visa are all accepted.

Q: Can I designate my gift to a particular area online?
A: We encourage you to make an unrestricted gift to the Lehigh Fund because it allows the university the much-needed flexibility to provide funding for its most critical needs. If you wish, you may restrict your gift to a particular area. Simply select the designation from the drop-down box on the online giving form.

Q: How can I increase the value of my contribution with a Matching Gift?
A: Many companies offer to match an employee's gift in whole or in part, increasing the value of your gift.  Contact your HR department for the appropriate form or click here to find out whether your company participates in a matching gift program, and how to proceed with the match.

Q: Can I fulfill a pledge online?
A: Yes, you can use the online giving site anytime to fulfill a pledge using your credit card.
PLEASE NOTE: Currently you can make a pledge payment only for the designated purposes listed in the drop-down box. Other designations will be added in the future.

Q: How long does it take for my credit card gift to be processed?
A: Your credit card gift is processed instantly ~ as soon as you see the message that indicates that your transaction has been approved. At the end of the process you will be able to print out a receipt for your records. Another receipt from our Development Office will soon follow in the mail.

Q: What if there is an error with my credit card information or the amount of my gift?
A: If you make a mistake when entering your credit card information, you will receive a message asking you to correct the error. You will be shown a record of the transaction when it is complete.
