A valuable way to share in your son or daughter's Lehigh experience is to join the Lehigh Parents' Committee. More than 70 families are members of the Parents' Committee and serve as liaisons between all parents and the university. Members assist in the development and maintenance of a number of on- and off-campus projects. Members also provide valuable support to enhance the total educational programs such as academic initiatives, tutorial assistance, library acquisitions, athletics and much more.

Committee chairs are Nancy and Robert Schatzman '07P, '08P, '12P, of Sea Girt, NJ. Special thanks and congratulations to Charles and Sandy Shotmeyer '00P '05P '06P, who have served the Parents' Committee for 10 years, including three as chairpersons.

Many thanks also to Joanne and Denis Salamone '01P, Chairpersons of Parents of Alumni for their continued leadership and support.

Lehigh parents continue to financially A Matter of Degree - Lehigh's program for reducing high-risk drinking among college students. The program is Lehigh’s ongoing commitment to foster a healthier and safer living and learning environment at Lehigh. In 2006, Lehigh received national recognition for the financial support given by Lehigh parents for this program, over $500,000 in the last 10 years.
