"A couple of years ago, I had the dream of studying outside of my home country, Bolivia. I wanted to go to a competitive university to receive a great education inside the classroom and get involved in the life of a college community. I was however, unsure of how I would be able to afford my dream.

Thanks to Lehigh, my dream came true and now I am here. I am here only because of the scholarships and financial aid that Lehigh offered to me. I know that there are many other students in the same situation as me, as well as many others who are not benefiting from a Lehigh education because of financial difficulties.

For this reason, when I heard about the Lehigh Liners and the calling program, I decided to join. I wanted to help Lehigh raise funds for more students to be able to come to Lehigh and make their dreams come true. I've learned that more than half of the gifts made by alumni go towards non-endowed scholarship aid. However, your contributions not only fund scholarships and financial aid, but they also support a variety of on-campus activities. The Lehigh Fund helps finance campus maintenance, computer labs, student performances, athletics, and many different programs that make life at Lehigh exciting.

I would not have been able to study at Lehigh if it were not for the generosity of the alumni."
