"I would not have been able to study at Lehigh if it were not for the generosity of the alumni."
- Alice Gonzalez Cavalcanti de Araujo '10
During her rapid ascent to the presidency of Lockheed Martin’s Transportation and Security Solitions, Judy Marks used her engineering degree from Lehigh to navigate positions ranging from engineering to management to marketing. "Lehigh provided a great basis for problem solving and understanding the basics of technology," she says. "I learn how to learn and adapt to changing environments."
Even as she lands lucrative contracts for projects like the 2010 U.S. Census and electronic security for New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Marks continues to support the P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science.
"I’m one of many voices who provide insight into industry needs and trends," she says. "It’s time to give back to an enterprise that provided me with the foundation to succeed."
