The Katrina Emergency Tax Relief Act of 2005 encourages taxpayers to do their part for Hurricane Katrina relief and also continue their regular support of favorite charitable organizations such as Lehigh University, where Shine Forever: The Campaign for Lehigh is well underway.

Dr. Joxel Garcia of the Pan American Health Organization was the keynote speaker for Lehigh’s annual International Week.

Lehigh holds fall "Breakfast for a Buck" event
Over 700 students and members of the Lehigh community packed Rathbone Dining Hall for the fall 2005 “Breakfast for a Buck” event, which was sponsored by several campus groups including Residential Services and the Athletics department’s award-winning C.O.A.C.H. program.
Ellis is preseason player of the year; team picked second
Lehigh women’s basketball junior guard Sara Ellis was named the Patriot League preseason player of the year, and Lehigh was picked to finish second in the league in a preseason poll.
Odds are, professional success ahead for Williamson
Senior Adam Williamson, a midfielder on the soccer team who is majoring in accounting, exemplifies what it means to be an athlete at Lehigh through his success on the field and in the classroom.
