

- With regard to the building shell and core:
- Structural steel and detailing members are 100 percent complete for the B and C wings and 60 percent complete for the A wing
- All major stairs have been installed
- Spray fireproofing is 95 percent complete
- Exterior wall framing and sheathing are about 95 percent complete
- Exterior air/vapor barrier is 60 percent complete
- Roof membrane for the B wing is 95 percent complete
- Exterior brick is 10 percent complete, with much of the north elevation now clad in brick
- With respect to the building interior:
- Concrete masonry walls (ground level) are about 95 percent complete
- Interior framing is 90 percent complete
- Utility rough-ins (electric, sprinkler, HVAC duct and piping, plumbing) are about 50 percent complete
In the weeks ahead, work in all of the above categories will continue. The most visible changes from the outside will be that the brick will advance upward on the north and west elevations, and the windows will begin to be installed during the last week in August, starting on the north elevation.
The STEPS facility, situated at the corner of Packer Avenue and Vine Street, will be comprised of a South Wing, Central Wing and North Wing, which adjoins Maginnes Hall.
