Stevens and Palmer: Williams and Stoughton: |
Also called "Lower Cents" by its residents, the Centennial II complex consists of six buildings arranged in a quadrangle with a large central courtyard and beach volleyball court. The six individual buildings house 44 first-year students each in double-occupancy rooms, and a few triples. The six identical buildings are Palmer, Stevens, Carothers, Beardslee, Williams, and Stoughton. Each of the Centennial II buildings is co-ed by floor, except in buildings which are designated co-ed by room for each academic year. This housing is based on demand.
Each room in Centennial II has a bed, desk, desk chair, bookshelf, chest of drawers, medicine chest with mirror, and individual closet.
The first floor of each building in Centennial II has a common area with lounge, containing a combination of the following: TV room, game room, study area, and kitchen. Laundry facilities and vending machines for Centennial II are located in the basement of Stoughton.
Residents of the Centennial II complex are often seen eating meals together at Rathbone Hall or enjoying a pick-up game of beach volleyball.
